The work and resources of the library

The work of the library include s the following activities:

Procurement, storing, sorting, classification, cataloguing, saving and transcribing the books into the Braille and transferring the books into other accessible techniques for the visually handicapped readers;
2. Publishing the Braille books and transponning the ink printed books into accessible formats;
3. Publishing the magazines for the visually impaired people;
4. Organizing a reading room;
5. Organizing book promotions, literary evenings, round tables, panels etc.;
6. Other works according to the law / administrative works etc.

The resources for the library professional work are provided by the following sources:
1. The budget of the Republic/state;
2. The library own income;
3. Donations.
4. Other sources according to the legislations.
