The Library is situated in The City of Podgorica, the capital of The Republic of Montenegro. Some 30% of the visually impaired population lives in Podgorica. The library is located on the address of 9, Radosav Buric street in a building of 360 square meters.
There is a staff of seven people working in two sectors:
Management sector and the library one. The library has got basic ward – 35 square meters and extra one – 34 square meters.The books are kept and set on the suitable shelves here after they have been filed in.

The Braille library is separated from the talking books library having the books on CDs in MP3 format, cassettes and tapes.
At the end of 2007 and the beginning of 2008 the library was equipped with talking book digital recording studio. Another, additional one is provided at the end of 2009.
Four by Four Index Braille embosser was donated to the library by the local organization of the blind in Kronoberi, in the South of Sweden.We started our own recording of talking books in February 2008.
The library has got a 50 seats conference room. It is also used to realize literary and other culture events.
