Our Library, in cooperation with the Historical Institute of Montenegro, as part of the “European Heritage Days 2025” programme, organised a one-day interactive and educational workshop entitled “Architecture at Your Fingertips – Heritage That Connects the Senses”. The event took place on Tuesday, the 23rd September 2025, in the Hall of the Historical Institute of Montenegro, starting at 10:30 o’clock. The gathering brought together representatives of the Historical Institute, professionals from the field of architecture, students and users of our Institution.
The following spoke at the meeting: PhD Jelisaveta Blagojević [Yeli-sar-vetta Bluggor-yevich] from the Historical Institute of Montenegro, Assoc. PhD Nevena Mašanović [Neven’nah Mashanovich], a professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Podgorica, as well as Ivana Ivanović [Ivana Ivanovich], a fifth-year student at that faculty. The meeting was greeted at the beginning by PhD Radenko Šćekić [Shuh-chekitch], director of the Historical Institute of Montenegro and MA Božidar Denda [Bozhidar Dairnda], director of our Library.
Through the presentations of the panellists and the conversation that followed, as well as through the presentations and the tactile exhibition of 3D printed models of famous Montenegrin buildings, those present could experience the architecture by touch, hear the history through experts’ presentations and experience the space through multiple senses, in a way that is accessible and suitable for everyone.
