Screening of the domestic film “Kraljevski voz” [krahlevskyvoz] (train to Kralevo; also: royal train) directed by Aleksandar Đorđević[AlexandahrJorjevich],in adapted version for our users, will be staged in the festive hall of the Montenegro State Lending Library for the Visually Impaired Personson Friday, 22ndOctoberbeginning at 18 h.
Interactive adaptation of the film will be performed by our associate Igor Tomić[IggorTomeech].
About the film:
“Kraljevski voz”is a Yugoslav film of 1981. It was directed by Aleksandar Đorđević, andscreen play was written by Mihajlo Sekulić [Me-hyloSekulich].
In August of the war time 1941, engine driver with a bag with documents of the Supreme Headquarters leaves for Kraljevo [Kralevo] by train, andGermans and police undertake everything to catch him. In the waggon where he is hiding, the engine driver finds a runaway Jewish girl. The station in Kraljevo is blocked, and the best German agent is in the train. Without making the contact, the engine driver deals with the agent on the train platform and becomes chased. He manages to hide and one of the workers brings him in contact with comrades he is supposed to hand the bag to. In the attempt to join the partisan detachment, he gets killed and the dinky with the Jewish girls leaves for freedom.
The train was called royal (originally pronounced: krahlevsky) upon its destination –it was travelling to Kraljevo.
