The screening of the film “Čavka” [Charvkah] (Western Jackdaw), directed by Miloš Radivojević [Milosh Radivoyevich], in an adapted version for our users, will be held in the hall of the Montenegro Library for Persons with Visual Impairments on Tuesday, the 23rd December, starting at 18 o’clock.
Interactive adaptation of the film will be performed live by our associate Igor Tomić [Iggor Tomeech].
About the film:
“Čavka” [Charvkah] (Western Jackdaw) is a Yugoslav film from 1988. It was directed by Miloš Radivojević [Milosh Radivoyevich], the screenplay was written by Miloš Radivojević and Svetozar Vlajković [Svetozar Vly’kovich], and the music was written by Kornelije Kovač [Korrneliyeh Kovach].
The friendship of two town boys, one, who grew up in material well-being, and the other, who is homeless and who is moved from school to school because he challenges the teachers’ expectations of children’s suitability. What they both have in common is that they come from broken families and long for warmth. Despite the restrictions imposed by adults, they form a close friendship, creating their own world filled with small secrets and moments of joy.
