Our Library, in cooperation with the Historical Institute of Montenegro, as part of the “European Heritage Days 2025” program, organizes a one-day interactive and educational workshop entitled “Architecture at Your Fingertips – Heritage that Connects the Senses”. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025 in the Hall of the Historical Institute of Montenegro, starting at 10:30 o’clock. The event “Architecture at Your Fingertips – Heritage that Connects the Senses” is designed as an interactive educational gathering that brings together professionals from the field of architecture, students, persons with visual impairment as well as all interested citizens.
The following will speak at the meeting: Jelisaveta Blagojević [Yellisarveta Blagoyevich], PhD from the Historical Institute of Montenegro, Assoc. Nevena Mašanović [Neven’ar Mashanovich], PhD, a professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Podgorica, as well as Ivana Ivanović [Ivana Ivanovich], a fifth-year student at this faculty. The meeting will be greeted at the beginning by prof. Radenko Šćekić [Ruddenkor Shtchekich], PhD, director of the Historical Institute of Montenegro and MA Božidar Denda [Bozhidar Dairndah], director of our Library.
Through conversation, presentations and a tactile exhibition of 3D printed models of famous Montenegrin buildings, attendees will be able to experience architecture by touch, hear history through expert presentations and feel the space through multiple senses.
