Screening of the crime film “Davitelj protiv davitelja” [davvitelprottivdavvitelya] (the strangler against strangler) directed by Slobodan Šijan [Sloboddan She-yan], and the screen play written by Slobodan Šijan and Nebojša Pajkić [NebojshaPajkich],in the adapted version for our users, will be held in the premises of the Montenegro Library for Persons with Visual Impairments on Tuesday, 20thSeptember, beginning at 19 h.
Interactive adaptation of the film will be performed live by our associate Igor Tomić [IggorTomeech].
About the film:
„Davitelj protiv davitelja“ is a Yugoslav film made in 1984, and directed by Slobodan Šijan. In the media,the film was described as a thriller comedy and as remarkably important in the career of the actor Taško Načić [TashkorNatchich]. Although the film was described as a cult one by several sources, Šijan said, on the Grosman Film Festival in Ljutomer [Ljutomair], Slovenia, among other things, that some “doors were closed”for him after this film, with the judgement that he “went too far”.
One more legend of criminal appears in Belgrade:a strangler (Taško Načić), whose victimsare girls that do not like carnations. Police inspector Ognjen Strahinjić [Ognjen Strahinjich] (interpreted by Nikola Simić [Nikola Seemich]) tries to solve the case, but the situation is additionally complicated bya young singer Spiridon Kopicl [Spiridon Kopitsel] (interpreted by Srđan Šaper [SerjanShuppair]) who seems to be in a telepathic connection with the strangler and his crush, journalist Sofija Mačkić [Sofia Matchkich] (interpreted by Sonja Savić), who gives the whole story an unwanted publicity…
