The screening of the film “Ime Dobrica, prezime nepoznato” [immeh Dobritsa, prezimmeh nepoznato] (name: Dobrica, surname: unknown), directed by Srđa Penezić [Serja Pennezich], in an adapted version for our users, will be held in the hall of the Montenegro Library for Persons with Visual Impairments on Thursday, the 19th September, beginning at 19 h.
Interactive adaptation of the film will be performed live by our associate Igor Tomić [Iggor Tomeech].
About the film:
Abandoned by his parents, Dobrica [Dobritsa ] has spent first twenty eight years in orphanageor in prison. However, whether because he had spent the first several years with people who sincerely loved him or because such his nature is, he chooses to see only the good in people. People often laugh at Dobrica and his innocence but cannot resist it eventually. Almost everybody who comes into contact with him feels it is a man they have never met before, and who is really worth meeting. Their mistrust grows into confidence, their suspicion in faith, hopelessness in hope. As the time goes by, the strength of love and his ability to make people better transform the world round him and make it not what it is, but what it should be.
A special charm of this film arises from the fact that the rich film opus of Slavko Štimac [Slavkor Shteemahts] provided the opportunity to the author Srđa Penezić [Serja Pennezich] to use the cuts from the early films in which Štimac was acting (Vuk samotnjak (the lone wolf), Salaš u Malom Ritu [sallarsh oo Mahlom Reetu] (the farmhouse in Mali Rit), Vlak u snijegu [vlak oo sniyegu] (a train in the snow), Specijalno vaspitanje [spetsialno vaspitanye] (the special education), Varljivo leto [varlivo leto] (desceptive summer)) and fit them into the new shot material so as to illustrate the early life of the main role in the film.
Along with Štimac as a main role, the cast is composed of: Hana Selimović [Hana Selimovich], Mirjana Joković [Miryana Yorkovich], Bogdan Diklić [Bogdan Diklich], Renata Ulmanski [Renata Oolmanski], Miodrag Mrgud Radovanović [Meodrag Mrgud Radovahnovich], Vladica Milosavljević [Vladitsa Milosavlyevich], Sergej Trifunović [Sergay Triffoonovich], Marko Baćović [Marko Bachovich], Bojan Dimitrijević [Boyan Dimmitriyevich], Rada Đuričin [Rada Djurichin], Branislav Lečić [Branislav Lechich], Milan Caci Mihailović [Me-lan Tsatsi Me-hailovich], Gordana Đurđević Dimić [Gor-dunna Djurdjevich Deemich], Nebojša Dugalić [Nebboysha Dugalich] as a narrator and a little girl Helena Jakovljević [Helairna Yakorvlyevich] having her film debut.
The world film premiere was on the Montreal World Film Festival by the end of August 2016, and the first screening in Serbia was performed ion the International Film Direction Festival in Leskovac [Leskovats] where Slavko Štimac won the award for promoting our film in the world.
