The Library of Accessible Formats of Montenegro “Vojislav Minić” [Voyislav Mineech] has enhanced its technical capacities with the acquisition of a new Braillo 600 SR2 Braille embosser.
The new equipment was delivered several days ago, successfully installed and is now ready for use. The entire amount required for its purchase was provided from the Library’s regular annual budget.
With the acquisition of the new embosser, the Library ensures the continued production of Braille publications, both monographic and serial. The new equipment will also be used to print the magazine “Tačke kulture” [tatchkeh kooltoureh] (Cultural Points), which the Library has been publishing since 2018.
This investment represents an important step towards further improving the production of publications in accessible formats and creating better conditions for fulfilling the Library’s core mission – ensuring that library materials are accessible to its users.
