Representatives of The Library of Accessible Formats of Montenegro “Vojislav Minić” [Voyislav Mineech], led by director Božidar Denda [Bozhidar Dairnda], MS, paid an official visit to the Narodna biblioteka Njegoš [Narodna beeblyoteka Nyegosh] (National Library “Njegoš”) in Nikšić on Thursday, June 11th, 2026. On this occasion, the director, together with the employees, Hana Dubak [Hannar Doobak] and Vuk Peruničić [Vook Peroonichich], handed the director Liana Živković [Leeanna Zhivkovich] and her associates Jelena Jovović [Yellena Yovovich], MS and Milan Pešić [Milan Peshich], MS, a donation of our Library in the form of 30 audio publications, among which are the works of prominent domestic and foreign authors, as well as two important publications on black print, “The First Library of Accessible Formats in Montenegro 2006 – 2026” by Aleksandar Ćuković [Alexandahr Chookovich], MS and “Architecture at Your Fingertips – An Accessible Lexicon of the Architecture Of Montenegro”, edited by Radenko Šćekić [Radenko Shchekich], Ph.D., Jelisaveta Blagojević [Yelisaveta Blagoyevich], Ph.D., and Aleksandar Ćuković [Alexandahr Chookovich], MS.
Several departments of the (National Library “Njegoš” were visited, including the reading room of accessible formats, where, in addition to publications in accessible formats, computers enriched with software are available for users who are unable to use printed materials. The conversation took place in the mutual exchange of rich professional experiences and knowledge gained through many years of work in the library industry, with an accent on the conversation about accessible formats and the transformation that the Library of Accessible Formats has recently gone through, with the hope that this visit will be the beginning of a long-term and fruitful partnership.
