A word from the editor

Dear readers, dear friends and lovers of the written and spoken word, welcome to this month’s, 181st edition of the audio magazine “Glas”.

Before you is an edition filled with the spirit of spring and fresh pages that we have carefully prepared for you in our Library. April 2026 brings a rich cultural calendar, and we have done our best to capture every important event and every new book and preserve it from oblivion.

We start our walk through the contents right from the library corridors. We will inform you about the latest books in Daisy format and Braille that are available to our users starting this month. We will talk about the magic of tradition through the “The Magical Suitcase and the Legends of Perast” intended for the youngest, but also about Library’s important activities – our participation in the Regional Forum “Creative Europe”. We will make a special review of the promotions that have marked the past days: from the innovative lexicon “Architecture at Your Fingertips”, through the “Words of Contemporary Writers of Montenegro” edition, all the way to the movie night with the screening of the movie “Una”.

In the section Literature, we open the doors to the creativity of our distinguished authors. You will listen to the lyrics of Darko Jovović [Darko Yovovich], Radoman Stanišić [Radoman Stanishich], Momir Dragović [Momir Dragovich], Zoran Kostić [Zoran Kostich], Milutin Mićović [Milootin Michovich] and others who build a mosaic of voices that speak about hope, the soul and returning to oneself.

In April, we expand the cultural horizon with news about the successes of our creators on the international stage, while in the news block we bring a variety of interesting things – from technological phenomena and historical anniversaries, to scientific research on our climate and way of life. We round off the issue with spiritual and philosophical topics that invite us to inner work and self-examination.
