Our Library, as part of the Cooperation Agreement, sent a second donation to the Boljevac [Bolyevats] Public Library.
This time, 10 audio publications were delivered by mail.
The donation includes the titles of Montenegrin and international classics, as well as contemporary authors, with the aim of enriching the fund intended for people with visual impairments. The Boljevac [Bolyevats] Public Library has created a special department for this category of users.
Based on the agreement reached in the Cooperation Agreement, the Montenegro Library for Persons with Visual Impairments also regularly delivers its magazines: the audio magazine Glas (the Voice), which is published once a month, and Tačke kulture [tatchkeh kooltoureh] (Cultural Points), which is published bimonthly in Braille.
In this way, persons with visual impairments from the area of Boljevac municipality have easier access to literary content and other information now.
Our Library hereby continues the activities of donating books and publications to various institutions – kindergartens, schools, hospitals, retirement homes and others – with the desire to contribute to the development of cultural services available to the widest possible range of users, as well as strengthening regional cooperation with other libraries.
