Our Library organizes a special program dedicated to Peter II Petrović Njegoš [Petar Droogi Petrovich Neggosh] on the occasion of the 13th November, Njegoš Day, which we celebrate as the day of culture in Montenegro.
The program will be hosted by actress Danica Rajković [Danitsa Rykovich], while Njegoš’s [Neggoshes] lines will be recited by Iskra Zeković [Iskra Zekovich], a student at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts.
The library invites its users, as well as all interested lovers of literature, art and cultural heritage of Montenegro, to this program.
Next, a public class of Njegoš’s poetry “Sve su naše glave odabrane” [Svessoo nasheh glarvair oddabrarneh] will be held, where everyone present will have the opportunity to hear excerpts from Njegoš’s works Gorski vijenac [Gorski v-yenats] (The Mountain Wreath) and Luča mikrokosma [Loocha mikkrokozma] (The Ray of the Microcosm) interpreted by actor Jovan Dabović [Yorvan Darbovich]. These are audio publications that our Library recently prepared for its users.
The program will be held in our ceremonial hall “Miličko Miketić” [Milichko Mikketitch], on Tuesday, the 11th November, starting at 11 o’clock.
