Esteemed readers,

Welcome to the new, 172nd and 173rd editions of the audio magazine “Glas”, which brings rich and varied content for the months of July and August 2025. In this double issue, as always, you will find current affairs from the Library itself, with a special emphasis on our production.

In the literary section of the magazine, we bring a rich selection of poetry by domestic authors whose verses bring different emotions, life truths and literary reflections. Music lovers will enjoy the performance of the Montenegrin Chamber Orchestra, while the audio drama “Who Killed Martin” is intended for those who like dramatic treats.

In the section “Culture in print” we said goodbye to artists like Aleksandar Čilikov [Alexander Chilikov], Gabi Novak [Garbi Novark] and Josip Pejaković [Yossip Peyarkovich], and we also read about the awards received by Dušan Kovačević [Dushan Kovarchevich], Miloš Karadaglić [Milosh Karadaglitch] and others.

In “Contributions from various fields”, we discover new scientific findings and interesting facts – from archaeological discoveries in Egypt and Abu Dhabi, through the mysteries of human evolution, to unusual news such as pythons on the streets of Zagreb or recommendations of nutritionists and scientists for better sleep.

In the Philosophy section, we consider the thoughts of philosophers on peace and war, while the Religion section introduces us to important topics and spiritual messages of contemporary church thinkers, including texts and audio recordings of Metropolitan Amfilohije [Amfilor’he’yeh], Bishop Kirilo, Deacon Pavle Lješković [Pav-leh Leshkovich] and many others.
