A word from the editor
Esteemed readers,
Welcome to the new edition of “Glas” [Voice] by the Montenegro Library for the Persons with Visual Impairments – your guide through the world of literature, religion, history, philosophy, music and contemporary culture. In a time of rapid changes and voices that are often overused, our magazine remains a space of attention, reflection and dialogue, a space that listens to the thoughts that fill the silence between words.
In this issue, we take you on a journey through different epochal and spiritual landscapes: from literary classics to contemporary authors, from ancient religious messages to questions of contemporary belief, from historical milestones to philosophical questions that still seek answers today. We particularly highlight our regular columns – Radio Drama, where sound becomes a picture, as well as Culture in the Media, which listens to how art and information survive in digital noise. Through these contents, we not only inform, but also remind of the power of hearing, words and imagination.
In addition, we do not bypass current topics from society, science and everyday life – because the world we live in shapes our thoughts, feelings and values. There are, of course, the latest events from our Library.
Therefore, sit comfortably, open your ears and heart – and allow the Glas magazine to become the sound of knowledge, the melody of thoughts, and the whisper of inspiration.
