The Creative Europe Regional Forum was held in Podgorica on March 30th and 31st, which brought together numerous representatives of the cultural sector, decision makers and successful project leaders from the region and all of Europe in the Cue Hotel. The forum was jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro, the Film Centre and the Creative Europe Desk for Montenegro, in cooperation with the desks of the countries of the Western Balkans.
The importance of this event was confirmed by the opening speeches of high-ranking officials. At the opening, the Minister of Culture and Media Tamara Vujović [Tamara Vuyovich], PhD, the Minister of European Affairs Maida Gorčević [Maida Gorchyevich], as well as the Head of the Delegation of the European Union in Montenegro, Ambassador Johan Satler [Yohan Satler] and Silvija Delija [Silviya Deleeya] from the Brussels office spoke.
The special focus of the Forum was on innovation and inclusiveness in culture. In the session entitled “Digitalization of cultural heritage: How to make culture accessible to everyone”, moderated by Milena Ražnatović [Milena Razhnatovich] (Ministry of Culture and Media), experiences and practices in the field of accessibility were presented.

Božidar Denda [Bozhidar Dairnda], MSc, in front of our Library, Milan Tančeski [Milan Tancheski] from the organization BLINK (North Macedonia), Darijan Hadžisalihović [Dariyan Hadzhisaliovich], in front of the NGO Five Group from Podgorica. In addition to the director Denda, the library was represented at the meeting by colleagues Ivana Krstajić [Ivana Krstayich] and Hana Dubak [Hannar Dubak].
The participation of our Library in this forum was an opportunity to emphasize once again the importance of adapting cultural content and applying digital technologies in order to create a more inclusive society in which cultural heritage is accessible to every individual.
