This year the Montenegro Library for Persons with Visual Impairments is participating in the International Literature Festival in Podgorica (formerly the International Book Fair) for the third time. The Festival will be held from the 30th September to the 5th October on the Independence Square, organized by the Secretariat for Culture of the Capital City.
At its stand, the Library will present a rich selection of publications in audio format as well as in in Braille. The edition “Young Montenegrin Writers” will be specially presented. Through this edition, new names of the local literary scene will be affirmed.
This year too, the emphasis will be placed on the promotion of the Online Library – the newest service that allows audio publications to be easily downloaded and used on a phone or computer, thus bringing publications closer to users in an even more accessible way.
Visitors will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the contents, and those interested will be able to fill out an application form and become users of the Library.
The festival will be open every day from 11 o’clock to 22 o’clock, and admission is free.
The library invites all lovers of literature to visit the stand and celebrate together the third participation in this important cultural event.
