The screening of the film Policajac sa Petlovog brda [Politsayats sah Pairtlovog berda] (A Policeman from Petlovo Brdo), directed by Mihailo Vukobratović [Mihailo Vookobratovich] and screenwriter Predrag Perišić [Preddrahg Peshich], and in an adapted version for our users, will be held in the auditorium of the Montenegro Library for Persons with Visual Impairments on Tuesday, June 24th, starting at 19 o’clock.
The live interactive adaptation of the film will be done by our associate Igor Tomić [Igor Tomich].
About the movie:
“Policajac sa Petlovog brda” is a Serbian action-comedy film from 1992. Along with the film, a television series of the same name was shot and, in addition to being a combination of the first and second episodes, it also contains material that was shot for the film, the ending of which differs from the series, for which a second season was shot a year later.
The story is based on the adventures of police inspector Boško Simić [Boshkor Seemitch]. He lives in a small house on Petlovo Brdo, which was bought by his ex-wives Vera [Verra], Radmila and Natalija [Natalia] after the divorces, where he lives together with five children (one of which is a baby) from four marriages. Their mothers are very successful in their professions, so they have no time for children. Because of this, Boško is forced to be both father and mother to the children. He was the first policeman in the service to go on maternity leave. Although he is older, he remains appealing to women. Together with him, his partner Jova [Yorva] participates in the actions.
Boško Simić is a Belgrade police officer whose dedication and skill make him a figure of fear and dread among criminals, but his professional successes are in complete contrast to the chaos he experiences in his family life.
