Representatives of our Library attended the professional conference “Transformation of libraries, archives and museums in a (post) digital environment with a focus on protection, accessibility, research and promotion of cultural heritage”, held on the 28th and 29th May, 2025 in the Government House in Cetinje [Tsetinyair] and in the premises of the National Library of Montenegro “Đurđe Crnojević” [Djurdjair Tserno-yevich].
The conference brought together numerous librarians, archivists, museologists and experts from Montenegro and the region, and the focus was on the topics of protection, accessibility, research and promotion of cultural heritage in the modern digital age.
Within the three sessions, numerous topics were covered, some of which are: innovative approaches in the digitization of collections, the use of artificial intelligence in libraries, the preservation of old and rare materials, as well as the role of modern libraries in education and inclusion.
The conference was organized by the National Library of Montenegro “Đurđe Crnojević”, the National Museum of Montenegro, the State Archives of Montenegro and the Association of Librarians of Montenegro.
