The cooperation agreement between The Montenegro Library for the Persons with Visual Impairments and the National Library of Gračanica [Grachaneetsa] was signed on the 5th May 2025, marking the official start of a new cultural and professional collaboration between the two partner institutions from Podgorica [Podgoritsa] and Gračanica.
The Agreement was concluded with the aim of developing joint activities in the field of library and information activities, exchanging experiences in working with visually impaired users, as well as joint promotion of accessible culture and inclusive education.
Such a cultural connection between the two institutions not only enables greater access to knowledge for people with visual impairments, but also sends a strong message about solidarity, shared values and the importance of cross-border cooperation in culture.
The signatory parties express their belief that this Agreement represents only the beginning of a long-term, substantive and friendly partnership that will result in their cultural rapprochement.
