The first project team meeting for the project financed by the Employment Agency of Montenegro Grant Scheme, that is implemented by our Library in partnership with the NGO “Ekvivalent”from Podgorica, was held in the Library premises on Friday, 25.03.2022.
On the meeting, there were constituted a three-member project, considered and signed partner ship agreement for the project implementation, discussed about the methodologyand other aspects of selection of the trainees, selection of trainersand discussed about other specific details concerning the project.
The project proposal titled “Sound Recorder and Editor, Typographer and Proof-reader for Audio Books”, that the Public Institution of Montenegro Library for the Persons with Visual Impairments, in partnership with NGO “Ekvivalent” from Podgorica, applied for the grant awardunder the Employment Agency of Montenegro Grant Scheme, was awarded a grant of €51,267.87.
The Grant Contract was signed on Friday, 18th March. The project foresees including 8 persons with disabilities for the jobs of sound recorder and editor, typographer and proof-reader for audio books. The project will be implemented in the duration of 12 months as of 25.03.2022 with the aim of employing 5 project beneficiaries for 9 months in the project implementation period, as well 2 of these persons for 9 months after the project closure.
The Employment Agency of Montenegro, as a Contractor, finances € 48,697.87, which makes 95% of total eligible funds while the contribution of the Public Institution of Montenegro Library for the Persons with Visual Impairment sand NGO “Ekvivalent”, as applicants, makes €2,570.00, or 5%.
