Interlibrary exchange of publications in audio formats between the Library “Dr Milan Budimir” [dr Me-Lan Budimir] from Belgrade and our Library was done by the end of last week in Belgrade. Eighty publications each, in audio format, were exchanged on both parts. That was also an opportunity to exchange gifts and greetings on the occasion of recent marking of the 50th anniversary of the Belgrade Library, the oldest one in Balkan, and of the 15th anniversary of our Institution, which is the youngest one in this part of Europe.The observation festivities had been held previously in Belgrade on the 3rd December, and in Podgorica on the 5th.The exchange of the book fund, in this jubilee year for both of the libraries, is a nice and significant gesture of a successful continuation of many years of collaboration of our Library with the Belgrade one, which operates within the Association of the Blind of Serbia. The Association also marks one more significant jubilee, the 75th anniversary of existence and work. On that occasion, the representatives of our Library handed appropriate, modest gifts to the Association’s president, Milan Stošić[Me-lanStoshich] and secretary Jelena Stojanović [Yelena Stoyanovich]. The same was done by the hosts, too.In the discussions led between the two libraries’ managements, librariansVioleta Banković [Veo-letahBankovich]and Boris Dončić [Boris Donchich],on the part of the Library “Dr Milan Budimir”, also took part.
