Dear readers,

There is before us the ninety second issue of the magazine “Glas” comprised of the selected contributions in which we try to inform and remind of the most important happenings in the Library for the Blind, to sneak peek in the world of poetry, prose, literary critics, music, philosophy, religion. In this issue, we have, again, enriched the column – from different fields – with contributions from history, as well as science and technology. We recommend to your attention the story of the 100 anniversary of the closure of the WWI by the MA Milan Bajović [Milan Bah-yovitch]. In this issue, we publish the first part of his work, and in the December issue, we will publish the remainder. We will also introduce you to the latest biggest reach of world science in exploration of the universe. The Nativity fast has begun so, we decided to publish the interview with father Rafailo Boljević [Ruphailo Bolyevich] in this issue. There are more interesting stories that wait for you in that column. In the last months, we have socialised with the beautiful messages of the Patriarch Pavle compiled in the book “Smrt i večni život” [smert e vetchnee zhihvoht] (death and eternal life). In this issue, listen to the last sequel, and, as of the next one, we will make you happy with a new book from the world of religion.
In the section dedicated to music, we have chosen the French composer Gabriel Fauré. As usual, we have taken over this contribution from the Homer’s world of artistic music.
A very rich culture and artistic activity has marked the month behind us in the Library for the Blind. We had two screenings of films in adapted versions for persons with visual impairments, there was held a concert of The Gents quintet, and our youngest audience enjoyed in the verses of our friend, famous poet Bećo Došljak [Behcho Doshlyak]. We are especially proud of the successful implementation of the project “Homer’s Gift to Njegoš [Neggosh]” – a theatre play interpreted in the Zetski dom in Cetinje [Cetinnyeh]. The programme is a part of observation of the European Culture Heritage Day, and is financially supported by the Ministry of Culture.
