Director of our Library, Božidar Denda with his associates visited the Library for the blind and Visually Impaired in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Thursday, 16th November.
In the course of the several hours visit, in a pleasant and amicable tone, there were held discussions on current trends concerning user services and accessible format book production. On behalf of the host, the participants to the discussion were director of the Library Sakib Pleh (pronunciation: Plehgh) and the assistant to the director Sanela Osmanagić (pronunciation: Sannella Ossmanaghech). The director of our Library spoke for the magazine “Svjetlo misli” (pronunciation: svietlo meehssly; meaning: The Light of Thought) issued by the Sarajevo Library in MP3 format. The two of our libraries have developed friendly relations and quality cooperation for many a year now.
The visit was implemented within a broader scope of visit programme to Sarajevo, where there were held several events in culture for persons with the visual impairments.
