The Montenegro State Lending Library for the Visually Impaired in collaboration with the Organisation for the Blind of Bar and Ulcinj organises the screening of the film “Gorčilo – Jesi li to došao da me vidiš" (Gorchilo, have you come to see me?) directed by Milan Karadžić, in the adaptation for the visually impaired. The screening will be held in the premises of the Organisation for the Blind of Bar and Ulcinj, in Bar, ul. Rista Lekića D10, on Wednesday, 22.02.2017 at 17h.
Interactive adaptation of the film will be performed by our associate, teacher Igor Tomić.
About the film:
The screening of the film adapted for the persons with the impaired vision is implemented within the regular art programme of the Library. Our Library plans, for this year, the screenings of films for its users in other towns of Montenegro, as well, in order to bring the film art closer to the wider range of persons of the impaired vision, who are, due to their sensory disability, virtually disabled to enjoy the achievements of the film art.
The film “Gorčilo – Jesi li to došao da me vidiš” (Gorchilo, have you come to see me?), upon the theatar comedy and the screenplay of Miodrag – Mijo Karadžić, directed by Milan Karadžić, roles: Milutin – Mima Karadžić, Andrija Milošević, Viktor Savić, Dubravka Drakić, Boro Stjepanović, Anita Mančić, Mladen Nelević... The film plot is placed in the Montenegrin village, in the hills, in the summer of 1968. At the height of construction of the SFRY infrastructure, in the efforts to connect with roads the poor North of Montenegro with its South.
In that Montenegrin village, however, arrives the surveyor Laza in order to prepare the documents for the route of the future road. With him, arrives Klara, his wife, a ballerina from the People’s Theatre in Novi Sad, who has to keep in shape, during the summer, for the autumn season. How the peasants react to the arrival of the surveyor, how much they are prone to corruption, how they react to the arrival of people who live lives different from their own ones, which they find the best because they know not any better, is only one of the story lines..."
